Service & maintenance
The RObust COFFEE direct flow reverse osmosis filter is designed for cold water purification only.
Pressure monitoring
The front panel features two pressure gauges:
- Inlet pressure gauge – shows pressure after the pre-filters.
- Pump pressure gauge
– shows pressure after the membrane block.
Pre-filtration cartridges
Replace pre-filters after 3,000 litres of water filtration or at least every 3 months.
If the pressure after the pre-filters drops below 1 bar, the cartridges may be clogged.
Delaying replacement may damage or reduce the lifespan of the membrane.
Reverse osmosis membrane
With a significant drop in system performance, replacement of reverse osmosis membranes is required. Replace after filtering 30,000 liters or at least once per year if filtration speed decreases.
Post-filtration cartridge
Replace if taste deteriorates or odour appears, after 5,000 litres or at least every 3 months. Important: Replace all cartridges together as a set.
Downtime maintenance
If unused for over 2 weeks, disinfect before resuming use (procedure in the user manual).
