System Compatibility
Ideal for external canister filters and some large internal filters.
Proper placement is critical: Ensure the Ammonia Block lies flat (not squashed) after the biological section to maximize water exposure. Incorrect positioning may starve bacteria of their food source.
For sump filtration, release resin from the pods for use in reactors (flow rate: 50-150lph).
Dosage
- 1 pod for 0-250 liters
- 2 pods for 250-750 liters
- 3 pods for 750-1500 liters
Suitability & Precautions
Remove pods during fish disease treatments (similar to carbon usage).
For mature aquariums or cases with ammonia spikes, clean the filtration system before applying the Ammonia Block.
